Auld Family Wines is a South Australian family-owned winery presenting quality regional Barossa wines.
“The palate is concentrated and superbly weighted with velvety texture and beautifully pitched tannins, making it flavoursome and highly appealing.”
Nestled in the rolling hills of the Barossa Valley’s historic Bethany region, Auld Family Wines crafts exceptional wines that capture the essence of Jock and Sam’s home state.
Each bottle tells a story, honouring the land’s rich heritage and adding a new chapter to the family’s storied legacy—one that they hope will inspire future generations of Aulds to carry on the tradition. For us, Bethany isn’t just a vineyard—it’s our home. And this is just the beginning.
Our flagship Shiraz pays homage to our great-grandfather and Australian wine pioneer, William Patrick Auld.
In true Barossa style, the William Patrick 2021 Barossa Valley Single Vineyard Shiraz pulls no punches. Considered to be one of the great Barossa vintages, this classic Barossa Shiraz shows the warmth and rich aromatics of the region. Upfront, it bursts with intense bramble and blueberry fruit, unfolding into a mid-palate of dark chocolate and toasted spice, and finishing with a lift of raspberry acidity.
Following a sell-out 2018 vintage, this moreish wine is made from carefully selected fruit and matured on French oak for a minimum of 12 months, producing a full-bodied, soft, thick-set, unapologetically warm-climate shiraz.
Perfect with a (Barossa) leg of lamb and all the trimmings. Will cellar well for 10+ years. Available in single bottles, six-packs, and at select local retailers.
