Vintage 2022 will be remembered as one of the great Barossa Valley vintages, and our 2022 Barossa Valley Sangiovese is a testament to that. The nose presents encounters rich dark cherry, delicate rose petal, subtle leather, and whispers of oregano intricately woven throughout the bouquet.
With lively acidity, tangy sour cherry tones, and hints of Mediterranean herbs like oregano and thyme, this Sangiovese exudes vibrancy. Its savoury, earthy mid-palate beautifully reflects its classic Chianti origins. The earthiness of Sangiovese lends itself to slow cooked stews with rich, sweet vegetables.

Vintage 2022 will be remembered as one of the great Barossa Valley vintages. A long, cool summer, paired with frequent but light rain events gave the fruit time to develop sugar and retain acidity. Yields were above average with exceptional quality.
