*New Release* Family Series 2024 Eden Valley Pinot Gris
Completing the trilogy in our Family Series favourites, our very first Eden Valley Pinot Gris (2024) is a knockout- punching way above its price.
Bright straw in colour, this Pinot Gris is pristine and brightly expressed, showing honeydew & rockmelon on the nose with a refreshing, clean palate. The wine retained clean, fresh acidity to round out an intense mouthfeel.
Serve chilled and pair with chicken, seafood (especially salmon and shellfish), veal, and spicy and aromatic cuisines. A suitable companion for a long lunch or balmy dinner, or enjoy it in volumes straight out of the esky!

Pristine and brightly expressed, showing Gala apple, rockmelon, green pear and subtle spice aromas on the nose. The palate displays excellent focus and finely flowing mouthfeel, splendidly supported by vibrant acidity, finishing mouth-watering and persistent.

A fine example of a bright and fresh Pinot Gris which is showing early hints of possible emerging complexity. The colour here is an attractive lemon hue. A finely crafted example of the style, with pears, river stones and a hint of ginger. Good concentration and decent length, this has five to six years ahead of it. Well focused, fine balance, bright acidity, this is definitely worth looking at, for lovers of the grape.

Best enjoyed chilled and paired with chicken, fish (especially Salmon), pork tenderloin, quiche, shellfish like clams, oysters and mussels, and veal. Spicy Indian cuisine and Asian cuisine (such as sushi) are also exceptional.

The 2024 Eden Valley season began with significant June rainfall, followed by a dry spring. Variable fruit set and frost affected yield, but early December rain aided canopy and berry development, with good soil moisture supporting vine growth into January. Mild summer weather warmed and dried, with heat bursts leading to a warm, dry autumn, achieving optimal fruit maturity and ripeness. The resulting white wines display pure, intense fruit with excellent acidity and freshness.
